The Real Estate Property Manager is an independent contractor position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of real estate properties
- Develop and implement property management strategies to maximize property value and investment returns
- Coordinate leasing activities, including marketing, tenant screening, lease negotiations, and lease renewals
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance and repair needs are addressed in a timely manner
- Manage vendor relationships for property maintenance and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
- Collaborate with legal teams on lease agreements, evictions, and other legal matters
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in real estate management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in real estate management or related field
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using property management software such as AppFolio
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of maintenance processes
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
